How it works

  1. A scatter plot appears. Slide or type your estimate of its correlation, from −1 to 1.
  2. Within the scoring band counts as a hit. A bullseye scores double.
  3. Rated runs adapt to you: fewer points, outliers, curves and a tighter band as your rating rises.
  4. At the end, a chart shows your guesses against the truth, and whether you tend to over- or under-read correlations.

Most people read correlations as weaker than they are. The game tracks your lean so you can correct it.
